"Then I go on a road trip every day."-Me
So Saturday, Erika, Sarah, and I had plans to go to a "Back to School BYU BBQ" in Orlando. Before eating we thought we'd go to Jordan's house to tie dye. We didn't take into account, though, that people in Orlando are idiots and are incapable of driving if there is any sort of distraction.
Due to a few people getting pulled over and one accident (that led to us taking about 20 minutes to go 5 miles), along with getting severely lost, we got to Jordan's house just in time to leave for the bbq...
Getting to the host's home was an adventure as well! The neighborhood was right by the temple (which everyone knows is one of the most legit neighborhoods ever) and the first thing we saw pulling into this subdivision was a MASSIVE house. It had this sweet back yard and we were all talking about how awesome the house was and how crazy it would be if that was the house we were going to. Of course there was no way we could be going there so we were laughing and joking until we slowly realized that we were passing almost every house and that there weren't many left.
As it dawned on us that we were indeed going to the gigantic house, everyone in the car went slightly crazy. Erika got so excited that we all thought she dropped an f bomb (of course she didn't though!) and I was so excited I somehow cracked the lid to the vegetable platter I was holding.
After the initial shock of the amazing chandeliers (yes, that's plural.) and the view of the temple from the kitchen (awesome!) we had some food and headed outside to explore some more. That's when things got real awesome. Their pool was one of those infinity pools that just kinda drops off the edge. It has two levels and there was a tiled water slide that curves around and drops off into the lower level pool. It was so ridiculously awesome that I had to be a creep and take pictures...
Unfortunately the picture of the chandelier is on my cell phone...
Then we went to the game room and played some Rock Band. Seeing as they had FOUR couches in there, we each had one to ourselves! Then we played some CatchPhrase and began the long journey home haha
And then I found twenty dollars.
Just kidding. I wish!
